Elon Musk claims that if app retailers prohibit Twitter, he would create his own smartphone.

Twitter ‘s new boss Elon Musk practically warned the two dominant smartphone tech giants that he will build his own “alternative phone” if and when they remove the Twitter app from the App Store and Google Play Store.

He made this statement via Twitter when author and podcast host Liz Wheeler asked him what would happen “ if Apple and Google kicked Twitter out of their app stores, would Elon Musk make his own phone?” , even adding that ” half the country would happily throw away the iPhones and Androids that are prowling the world. Man makes rockets to Mars so a crappy smartphone would be easy right? ”

The reply from Musk was as follows:

Musk said that in practice, he is prepared for the worst-case scenario of the Twitter app being banned from the most well-known app stores, and that he will create his own iOS and Android rival.

Due to the radical changes made by the owners of Tesla and SpaceX and their support for “freedom of expression,” the topic of Twitter remaining in the digital shops of Apple and Google has recently generated much controversy.

Wheeler asked Twitter users if they would switch to the “tELONphone” shortly after getting Musk’s response, making fun of the name such a gadget would have.
