Sebastien Guillemot, CTO and co-founder of dcSpark and Cardano developer, has announced the creation of the first-of-its-kind library using the codegen tool.
According to him, this will allow developers to construct whole libraries from their requirements, saving them weeks of work and enhancing Cardano ecosystem cross-app compatibility.
Really excited to publish the 1st library built with our new codegen tool
Allowing developers to generate entire libraries from their specifications will
– save developers weeks of work
– improve cross-app compatibility in the Cardano ecosystem https://t.co/9tMeG749oQ — Sebastien Guillemot (@SebastienGllmt) February 6, 2023
“We’re really thrilled to release the first library created with our new codegen tool. Allowing developers to generate whole libraries from their specs will save them weeks of work while also improving cross-app compatibility in the Cardano ecosystem “Guillemot made the announcement.
The new library, developed in conjunction with Flint Wallet, is part of DC Spark’s Project Catalyst-funded endeavor to create Cardano tools.
Cardano’s library supports popular NFT metadata standards.
According to dcSpark, it was close to releasing the initial version of the tool used to produce the library and, as a milestone, used it to generate a library to handle CIP25, one of Cardano’s most used NFT metadata standards.
dcSpark is a crypto ecosystem builder with the goal of increasing adoption and chain interoperability by producing crucial products, libraries, and components for those products, and offering these libraries open source to the community.
The business developed the Flint wallet and the Milkomeda sidechain protocol, which powered the Cardano EVM sidechain, which debuted earlier this year.
